About Us
TACA History
Tallahassee Adventist Christian Academy was originally opened in 1965 to serve the needs of our growing community. Over the years, many students have called TACA their first school and, in many cases note their time at TACA as their favorite school years!
TACA Vision
Tallahassee Adventist Christian Academy develops leaders with Christ-like character who love learning and providing service to God and humanity.
TACA Mission
To show students that through God all things are possible: by encouraging them to be academically driven, providing a Christ-centered education, and emphasizing that all students of TACA are always a family.
Here for You
At Tallahassee Adventist Christian Academy, we approach each child as an individual with their own talents and one-of-a-kind needs. Our goal is to help your student meet the learning benchmarks for their grade, using the following:
- Christ-centered Environment
- Low Student-Teacher Ratio
- Volunteerism
- Parental Involvement
Adventist educational institutions believe that true education imparts far more than academic knowledge. It fosters a balanced development of the whole person—spiritual, physical, intellectual, and social-emotional—a process that spans a lifetime. Working together, homes, schools, and churches cooperate to prepare learners to be good citizens in this world and for eternity.
